Hello,

 

I woke up this morning to a completely unresponsive/un-pingable server.  Upon inspecting the logs it looks like it it had 17 instances of 

rcu_preempt detected expedited stalls on CPUs/tasks

and on the last one just seemed to die.

 

I'm unsure if this is just a sign of a dieing CPU, or if there's anything else which might cause it?

 

I've attached the logs, in case there's anything else in there I've missed.

Difficult to say what caused them, was this a one-time thing?

Should I just turn off the server and try again?
