February 25, 20251 yr Recently, I was unable to determine the cause of the server freezes, as the system logs would stop at random points each time the issue occurred. Given the lack of diagnostic information, I opted to build a new server (mainly due to power consumption and footprint). My goal is to deploy a fresh OS while preserving existing data and maintaining parity integrity. I understand that the order of data drives does not matter, but can I simply start the fresh OS with the correct parity drive assigned to achieve this? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, just point me to that direction. Thanks in advance!
