Keep document folder always in the primary storage for reading purpose

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm building a new NAS and I'm plannig to have a the user Data where I have all my files and a device SSD that I use as primary device.

If I have understood well, the mover feature will move ALL my files from the primary SSD to the Data Array every day. That mean that if that if I read often from a folder like Document I'll read from the array.

What I would like it would be to have a some folder always in the primary SSD that get synchronized and some folder (like download) that get moved.

For example I could have this folders  in the array

- Download

- Document

- Photos

If I download a file a and edit a file from documents they would get saved in the primary disk:

- Download\new file

- document\editet file

After running the mover this is what I would like to have

ARRAY:

- Download -> with new file

- Document -> with the edit file

- Photos

SSD:

- Document\ new files

- NO Download folder because it has been moved

Would it be possible to do that without creating multiple user shares?
