After updating to 7.0.1 all user shares disappeared (SOLVED)

Featured Replies

After the update all user shares disappeared. I tried to downgrade and it got worse. so I reverted back to 7.0.1 but the user shares are still not there.

Does it work if you boot in Safe Mode so that no plugins are loaded?

You have a couple of plugins that are I know to be incompatible with Unraid 7  (e.g. NerdTools, ca Mover Tuning), but there may be more.

It still doesn't work... there's only one folder and that's the syslog I created last for logging. There is a log error associated with it:

Mar  3 10:33:29 AelothTower emhttpd: error: malloc_share_locations, 7936: Operation not supported (95): getxattr: /mnt/user/syslog

If I try to create a user share there as nothing happens.

It still seems to me that there are disk shares (not user shares) that I haven't seen there before.

Looks like there's something creating:

/mnt/user/syslog

Before the array starts, that's not allowed, /mnt/user is reserverd.

Thanks! it was setting up rsyslog.conf where it created a syslog folder to log to.

Now after modification and reboot everything ran as it should.

Thank you!
