Unable to mount drives, looking to elimiate options before diagnosing hardware failure.

Featured Replies

Hey everyone. I recently purchased 4 new 8TB drives for my array from a reputable drive refurbisher on ebay. I was able to plug in and format the drives in xfs in order to add them to my array. However, I am unable to mount them and get the following errors. I can add the drive to the array and attempt to rebuild it, but I get an error after the drives spin up, "Unmountable: wrong or no file system". I am trying to troubleshoot things related to my SAS controller's firmware version (I have a LSI SAS 9210-8i card running LSISAS2008: FWVersion(20.00.02.00), ChipRevision(0x03)) and potential incompatibility. But I am a bit out of my depth here and would appreciate any input or advice. Thank you & diagnostics attached.
