[7.0.0] All disks missing - possibly failed parity check?

Featured Replies

Hi, this morning I woke up to my server showing that all disks are disabled/missing.

When attempting to select the device to re-add it, the dropdown is empty.

My monthly parity check was scheduled to start overnight so I'm wondering if there is something that went wrong. Attached are the diagnostics.

In my own log review, I found some weird items such as "kernel: unraidd1: attempt to access beyond end of device"

Any help is greatly appreciated!

See if they are detected in the BIOS.

I'll have to figure out a way to attach a monitor to view the BIOS. Going to have to dig through the old cable bin for the DVI adapter!

Also, I noticed my two SSDs are being detected via the SAS controller - so that rules out a failed controller. Since all 6 drives share power I'm going to look there first.

I'll report back soon.

It was a loose power connector at the PSU - no idea how it came loose but I'll need to investigate further.
