Share Permissions resetting to “No Access”

Featured Replies

Hello,

I’m having a recurring issue with a Minecraft server I have been hosting for a few weeks.

**disclaimer** I’m pretty uneducated in unraid.

I placed the docker into a share within my SMB that is exposed privately. This was so that I could edit plugins/mods as needed and works well 99% of the time.

However, almost daily some sub folders will have their permissions change  to be “No Access” which means things like playerdata or plugins that need to update their files lose access to write to files. The only solution I have found is to edit the specific share’s permission when the error pops up.

Any thoughts/feedback are appreciated!!

Probably get better advice if you can post to the support for the specific container. Many dockers have a support thread on the Unraid forum, which you can access by clicking its icon in your Unraid webUI and selecting Support from the popup.

I’ll give that a try, thanks
