Can't log into unRAID server from Win7

Featured Replies

I have just bought a HP N40L and unRAID.

I am running V5 beta14 with AFP and SMB (with master browsing).

I set this up via my macbook running snow leopard, and from the macbook side everything is working well.

I can use the IP to log in and change setting or see stats. I can mount via AFP or SMB by either manual or browsing to share, all is good on the Mac side.

I have just installed Win7 on my desktop PC from scratch (no upgrade), and has Bitdefender security 2012 plus all updates as of today.

Now I can see and access all shares via network neighbourhood, can ping IP, so no problems talking to unRAID, BUT I can not log in to the unRAID server either via Firefox or IE9. I have tried both the name "tower" and ip "192.168.10.40"

IE tells me there is a network error and to diagnose the problems (which finds nothing wrong) Firefox tells me the server didn't respond in time.

I have turned off BitDefenders firewall and virus scanner, I can telnet into it, I can access the web, I'm connected via a USB WiFi, network is setup as a home trusted network, IP address 192.168.10.105. Router is a airport extreme and unRAID is assigned IP address "192.168.10.40".

I don't know what to try, it all works fine except I can't log in to server, to view logs, stats or change settings.

Any thing I could try?

Thx

Temporarily uninstall Bitdefender totally and see if the problem still exists.

Well uninstall BitDefender did fix the problem  :(

Put it back on and it stops access to my NAS  :'(

Have now posted in Bitdefender forums, as I can't fined an option any where to allow me access, or see where its stopping me.

Switching off doesn't fix it only uninstalling BitDefender fixes it.

Thx
