March 14, 20251 yr I can see that the Unraid machine does boot from the USB but it is not in the network, After the Unraid boots up the screen shows a white nonmoving cursor. It was working fine but after some reboots on my Win 11 device it was no longer in the network. I removed the USB and placed the backup USB in the Unraid device and still not visible USB

March 14, 20251 yr Community Expert Try this: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/177975-formatted-my-pc-and-installed-fresh-windows-11-now-cant-access-smb-shares/#comment-1478526 Establishing the Login via Windows Credentials is important as Windows no longer allows a connection to any server that it does not have login credentials to. Following the procedure in the second paragraph is the easiest way to do this.

March 14, 20251 yr Author I went to Credential manager and set up Tower With the same name and password for the GUI Accesss denied
March 14, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution You shouldn't use root for network access to user shares. root is only for the Unraid webUI and command line.
