Docker Permission Problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

i run in to a problem 3 Weeks ago, all my docker worked fine together.

But then from one to the other day, they got Permissions problems.

I looked in serverals forum to find a solution.

for example sonarr cant access my media folder. cant add a root folder and so on. I can do it, for nearly a year now, with the same build. nothing has changed. and then i change the share from /mnt/user/data -> /mnt/user/daten. than it worked for about 5-6 hours. and Stopt wokring again.

Few days later i updatet my unraid to the latest version. and all docker worked for about 5-6 Hours fine.

So i dont know what to do. i put the diagnostics to the thread maybe some of you had this problme too, and find a solution for it

Maybe unrelated, and shouldn't cause the problem, but your appdata and system shares have files on the array.

This user share

l--s shareUseCache="only" # Share exists on disk1

is configured to only use the nonexistent pool "data_pool". Probably you removed or renamed that pool. You should fix that user share setting, and if you really don't want it on the array, you will have to configure it to be moved to whichever pool you want it on.

This user share

t--p shareUseCache="only" # Share exists on usenet_cache, disk1, disk4

is confiigured to only use usenet_cache, but as you can see, it has files on the array. You need to fix that one too.

Since you have specified a non-existent pool for a share, I wonder if you don't have some of your dockers also configured to use that non-existent share.

syslog filling up with these and similar

Mar 16 12:00:24 unRAID shfs: assign_disk: /daten/media/tv/Futurama/Season 07 (28) No space left on device

Some of your shares have no setting for Minimum Free, and some of your shares have Minimum Free set too large.

https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/shares/user-shares/#minimum-free-space

You should also set Minimum Free for each of your pools.
