March 16, 20251 yr Hi, I have a 3/1 array with 3 data and one parity disk. Will the array continue to function if I remove the parity disk?
March 16, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution Yes, you just won't have any parity protection. You'll have to do tools->new config and reassign all the drives except the parity to remove it from the array.

I think it's implied in your answer, that after reassigning the drives, the existing shares and data will once again be accessible, is it not? Thanks for your assistance!
