March 17, 20251 yr I am having an intermittent issue that I cannot figure out. Every so often, the GUI for unraid is unreachable, as is the GUI for most docker containers. During this time Emby and Plex both continue to work just fine. After a few days, I can get back in, but I have no idea what is going on. I have attached the diagnostics and below is the data available in the log when I logged on (successfully) today. text error warn system array login Mar 17 05:15:17 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:17 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:18 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:18 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:18 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:19 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:19 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:20 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:20 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:21 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:22 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:23 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:23 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:23 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:23 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:23 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:23 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:24 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:24 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:24 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:24 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:26 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:28 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:28 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:28 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 05:15:28 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 08:47:09 BLACKBIRD shfs: share cache full Mar 17 09:32:01 BLACKBIRD monitor_nchan: Stop running nchan processes Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: ------------[ cut here ]------------ Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: Can't encode file handler for inotify: 255 Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 360439 at fs/notify/fdinfo.c:55 show_mark_fhandle+0x77/0xe6 Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: Modules linked in: bluetooth ecdh_generic ecc xt_connmark xt_comment iptable_raw xt_mark xt_CHECKSUM ipt_REJECT nf_reject_ipv4 ip6table_mangle iptable_mangle vhost_net tun vhost vhost_iotlb tap veth xt_nat xt_tcpudp xt_conntrack nf_conntrack_netlink nfnetlink xfrm_user ip6table_nat xt_addrtype br_netfilter md_mod ntfs3 tcp_diag inet_diag iptable_nat xt_MASQUERADE nf_nat nf_conntrack nf_defrag_ipv6 nf_defrag_ipv4 wireguard curve25519_x86_64 libcurve25519_generic libchacha20poly1305 chacha_x86_64 poly1305_x86_64 ip6_udp_tunnel udp_tunnel libchacha ip6table_filter ip6_tables iptable_filter ip_tables x_tables efivarfs af_packet 8021q garp mrp bridge stp llc bonding tls ixgbe xfrm_algo mdio zfs(PO) intel_rapl_common x86_pkg_temp_thermal intel_powerclamp coretemp spl(O) kvm_intel i915 kvm iosf_mbi crct10dif_pclmul drm_buddy crc32_pclmul crc32c_intel ghash_clmulni_intel ttm sha512_ssse3 sha256_ssse3 sha1_ssse3 i2c_algo_bit aesni_intel drm_display_helper crypto_simd cryptd drm_kms_helper mei_pxp mei_hdcp i2c_i801 Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: rapl gigabyte_wmi wmi_bmof intel_cstate intel_uncore drm i2c_smbus nvme nvme_core mei_me mei intel_gtt intel_pch_thermal agpgart ahci i2c_core libahci thermal fan video tpm_crb backlight tpm_tis tpm_tis_core tpm wmi acpi_pad button [last unloaded: xfrm_algo] Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: CPU: 2 PID: 360439 Comm: lsof Tainted: P O 6.6.56-Unraid #1 Mar 17 10:08:25 BLACKBIRD kernel: Hardware name: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. March 17, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution Nothing relevant logged that I can see, that inotify call trace can be ignored, everyone gets it, I would recommend updating to 7.0.1 since you are running a beta, and also trying a couple of other things, go to Settings - Global share settings and set the Number of fuse File Descriptors to the max, and enable this: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/7.0.0/#excessive-flash-drive-activity-slows-the-system-down
March 17, 20251 yr Author Thanks, I think I found the issue but I am not sure how to fix it now. I have an Opnsense router with a cellular backup and the issues started when I added the cellular backup. I reverted back to the original opnsense settings before that change and everything started working. I was using binhex-delugevpn and that container was not accessible at all and unraid was intermittently accessible. Edited March 17, 20251 yr by Smasher
