Intel ARC B580 Pasthrough

Featured Replies

With the new beta release, put in the B580 I got earlier this year.

However, it is not showing up on the IOMMU groups, and can not pass it through to VM thusly.

I can find the device in lshw -C video.

Tried changing the PCIe ACS override setting to the other options, but no improvement afterwards.

That should happen with any release, for pass through you don't need driver support, please post the diagnostics.

The GPU is there, and the driver is installed:

4a:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Battlemage G21 [Arc B580] [8086:e20b]
    Subsystem: ASRock Incorporation Device [1849:6021]
    Kernel driver in use: xe
    Kernel modules: xe

But it's not part of any IOMMU group, and it's not the only device missing, LSI HBA is also missing, for example, looks like everything above dev ID 0c:00.3 is missing from the IOMMU groups, not sure what it could be, but looks more like a board issue to me, any ideas @SimonF

Looks like it may be a setting in the bios due to tile nature of TRs, Set this to enabled.
