Topton N105 NAS Board

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I just bought myself a Topton N105 board with 6 x SATA channels and 3 x Nic (2 x 2.5GBE & 1 x 10GBE). I installed a Crucial 48GB Memory module. And i ran the system idle for a week before i was ready to add my Synology NAS disks and cache SSD. But after mounting the disks and even unmounting them again i experience that the system is available and pingable 10-20 seconds after reboot. I have tried to move a new fresh install on a brand new USB drive and shortly after the system went up it is no longer accessible and not pingable at all. There is nothing changed in the config yet and nothing activated nor installed.

Could there be any BIOS config that i need to be aware of? I have previously tried to change the networking cable to a different port and even disabled the bonding and bridging but nothing changes. System is Available for a short second and then unavailable again.

It could maybe be related to what i can see is the Intel NIC I226-v network adapter issue. I just reflashed my USB with the Unraid version 6.12.14 and it seems for now that everything is ok. Is there any fix for this?

I still have issues even when running 6.12.14 but significantly less problems. It seems that it could also be related to the ASPM in the bios that needs to be turned off. Stability is more important to me than power saving.
