Here's the error I'm getting.

Error: failed to register layer: open /var/lib/docker/overlay2/d98d753e48268c75b5a3eee22c706e18f61ca3fe8c6ec5ed109191ceb3a7fa31/link: no such file or directory

Attached is my most recent diagnostic logs.

What might be causing this?

I see a lot of strange errors with docker directory, I would recommend recreating it as an image and trying again.

Can you explain what you mean recreating it as an image?  Are you referring to that I have docker running as "directory" and not btrfs or xfs?

If your saying convert it to one of those images, can you recommend which one? I tried running in on the default of, I think it was btrfs, but it kept crashing, so I tried directory instead.

This normally indicates something wrong at the hardware level - typically RAM going bad.

Luckily, I have four brand new sticks of RAM for this machine. I'll swap them out, run memtests and reinstall as btrfs.
