Hi all,

 

I'd like to use one of the existing 2TB Hitachi drives in my array as

the Cache drive.

 

Just want to confirm the following steps:

 

1. Transfer/remove all important data from Data Disc

2. Disable Data Disc from array Devices

3. Set INITCONFIG

4. Assign previous Data Disc to Cache

 

Are those steps correct to safely update INITCONFIG without losing any of the data on the other ASSIGNED drives?
