This is more curiosity than anything (may be a bug, who knows). I have two servers, both have Unraid Connect 2025.03.18.2027 (I have even attempted to uninstall the plugin and reinstall / reconnect on multiple occasions).

 

For some reason,, 1 of my servers isn't showing what I suspect is the version number (it's just blank), and the other server is showing an old 2024.05.15.1138 version number.

 

Is this a known issue? Maybe just my OCD, but trying to figure this out and haven't been able to. See the attached screenshot.

For the record, this has been bugging me as well.  I have looked everywhere several times for an explanation, but have come up empty handed every time.  I'm assuming this must be a bug that for some reason has never been addressed?

Is it populated in the server details section and just missing from the dashboard? Mine is missing from both areas.

 

Interestingly, it's the first server (and newest) in the list (of 6 servers), similarly to yours being first in your list. I issued unraid-api restart commands on several devices with no change and restarted the affected one without resolution. As a side note, flash backup wasn't enabled on this device and I tried turning it on, but the backup failed.

 

MOST interesting it that the displayed values are all wrong. The plugin version on all my machines is "2025.03.27.0004" but all of my machines are displaying "2024.01.11.1434" on the connect website. I suspect that reporting of this value has been broken since "2024.01.11.1434" or thereabouts (you have 2024.05.15.1138) and servers that have been setup with later plugin versions have never reported a value.

 

Tried to check the repo https://github.com/unraid/api/ but it appears that its vanished from github (or maybe private all along, don't know)?

Well thanks to both of you for confirming this is clearly some weird bug that the Unraid team hasn't gotten around to fixing yet. Bugs the heck out of me, but at least I'm not alone

 

I have the same problem. Installed version is "2025.05.01.2159" but the dashboard reports version "2021.10.12.1921" (!!!)

Just chiming in that mine do this as well. One server shows nothing for the version, while the other shows "2023.09.08.0637". Both are up to date.

This is currently a bit broken, we removed the check in logic from servers and are relying on a legacy data point for this. There will be a new version of mothership published in the next month or two that will resolve this for good.
