March 29, 20251 yr my cache disk has been full up for a while now and its impacting performance. I checked with qdirstat and it's all files that *should* be moving to the array. Moreover, my notifications seem to imply the files *were* moved, but the disk is still full... e.g., disk 96% full, then moves 1.7TB (from 2TB cache drive), then 97% full... any idea what's going on?
March 29, 20251 yr Community Expert Please enable mover logging, run the mover and post the diagnostics together with the share name(s) you expect to be moved.
March 29, 20251 yr Author I've enabled mover logging, but is there a way to stop and re-run the mover? It seems it can't run because it's already running. media should be moved from primary to secondary laforge-diagnostics-20250329-0353.zip Edited March 29, 20251 yr by SimplifyAndAddCoffee
March 29, 20251 yr Community Expert Not part of your current issue, but you have part of your ‘system’ share on disk3. This can impact the performance of Docker containers or VMs so after sorting your current issue you may want to also get this resolved.

How does that even happen? and what do I need to do to fix it at this point?

That can happen if any time you activate the Docker or VM sub systems without the pool being available. The normal fix is to run mover with the Docker and VM subsystems disabled under Settings (as they would otherwise hold files open and stop them being moved). If that does not fix it then it probably means you have duplicate files (as mover never overwrites file) in both locations and you need to manually delete the copy that is not to be kept and Dynamix File Manager can be used for this.
