Since 7.0 my server will become unresponsive suddenly in a matter of hours or days. Usually the containers still run and gui gives 500 or 504 nginx error. Though sometimes it does freeze up containers. Either way the only solution is a hard reboot, obviously not ideal. I tried ssh in and restart and reload nginx but that doesn't help. This is solid modern quality components and a clone hardware wise of another two machines I have which both have no issues.

 

At first I assumed it was just new major version bugs but since the update the other day it is maybe worse not better.

Enable the syslog server and post that after a crash, but I see you have a 14700K, so it could also be the Intel 13/14 gen issue.

u tried syllogism but it doesn't happen right a way for regularly so after a few days my usb stick get weird if I don't shut down syslog. since it freezes and only a hard restart brings it back it must screw something up because the log files show acting normal, chunk of time missing, then normal starting up. I gave up but I'll see if I can get a different result, maybe an update fixed something. 

 

as for the Intel, i bought the motherboard and cpu new recently and updated fully to support the microcode fix. plus I don't overstock or allow extreme Temps on my system

You don't need to, there have been plenty of confirmed cases here of similar issues for other users.
