April 5, 20251 yr Been on Unraid for about a month, normally just am a Linux poweruser for everything, but decided to dive into Unraid, and while I have everything set up, I can not figure out for the life of me why the Mover won't work. It won't move from the cache pool to the array, but it'll tell me it did it. I eventually got fed up and just moved it manually since my cache pool was full. I've checked the logs and it keeps saying it's complete...do I have a setting wrong? I've attached screenshots of my settings.
April 5, 20251 yr If your question is about a plugin, you can go directly to the correct support thread for any of your plugins by clicking its Support link on the Plugins page of your Unraid webUI.
April 5, 20251 yr Normally you want all of the 'system' share on the pool to maximise performance, but you have it set to be moved to cache. You are likely to get more informed feedback if you attach your system's diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread. It is always a good idea to do this to allow us to see the current state of your system and so we can see logs. Please then give the name of any shares that are not moving as you expect.

Sorry, will do. I'll be honest, I can't remember the last time I used a forum, so absolutely my bad! Thank you for your recommendation, once my manual move finishes then I'm going to delete it and try again.

April 5, 20251 yr Author Attached. Got it, I will keep System & AppData on the pool. I'm going to let it finish moving then will reconfigure that. Thank you. It's my twinpeaks share that is not moving to the array. twinpeaks-diagnostics-20250405-1127.zip Edited April 5, 20251 yr by texx2818
April 5, 20251 yr Uninstall Mover Tuning. Nothing can move open files, so Disable Docker and VM Manager in Settings and leave them disabled until everything is moved where it belongs. Set appdata and system shares to Primary:cache; Secondary:none for now until you get other stuff moved off cache to make room for them. Run Mover, wait for it to complete, post new diagnostics
April 5, 20251 yr Looks as if you have a docker container continually crashing and restarting which is spamming your logs. You can probably work out which one it is by looking at the uptime on the Docker tab.
