Hi All,

 

I am migrating my data from my old server to the new. Joe, I was wondering can I pre-clear the 2TB drives in the old server (4.7) as the data is removed to save some time and then transfer them to the new server 5B14 and add them to the array or do I have to pre-clear them in the new server.

    You may pre-clear on either server.  The signature it writes to a disk is not server specific, but disk size specific.
