Combine two unassigned devices in one share

Hi everyone,

 

does anybody know if it is possible to combine two unassigned devices as one share. I have two external HDD-Cases from Fantec with 12 and 24TB of HDDs in them and would like to back up my main array to a one 36TB share.

 

Any pointers to the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
