Parity check schedule options

Featured Replies

Why is there no quarterly or half year option in the parity check schedule? It’s quite a leap from monthly to yearly.
I would like to see more options, and preferably some defaulted to a recommended schedule.

One of your choices is "Custom". That will let you enter a cron expression.

For example

quarter-year could be 0 0 1 1,4,7,10 * (midnight on first day of Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct)

half-year could 0 0 1 1,7 * (midnight on first day of Jan and Jul)

But why is this not set as a pre-set default option?
quarterly and half year sounds like mandatory and not custom option to me.
Or is the default options the most sane and recommended to use?

Every month or just once per year. It feels like a huge gap in between.
