Thanks for you continued efforts into this plugin - which we cannot live without ;)

I've been using both the latest and the beta (from May) successfully, but lately I had to create a stack using docker compose and these seem impossible to group. I've tried the labels approach but the containers will not be grouped.

Any input from the crowd?

Sorry guys, I know this is taking forever, but stupid life is getting in the way. I should have time Saturday evening hopefully and Monday so I make this a priority and try to fix the issues.

This will be cool, even if you push new version with fixes in beta for plugin, for people will not write about bugs that was fixed already :)

So I added some fixed and potential bugs :D if you have time, try the new beta ( see first post ) and drop me here the biggest issues you have now with the plugin ( and how can I replicate them ), and I will try during whole of this week to fix as much as I can .

So I installed the latest folder.view2 beta on Unraid 7.1.4 and seems working to me overall. The only problem is that the containers that were installed using docker compose.

This one is from the previous folder.view plugin:

Now this one is using folder.view2 plugin.

Also, in the Unraid Dashboard tab, some containers are not inside their folder.

This TasmoAdmin and zigbee2mqtt are inside the Automation folder when in the Docker Tab, but in the Dashboard Tab, it is outside.

How did you manage to use docker compose ? can you walk me through it ? I will do the same on my test server and will fix it. ( I thought docker compose is not supported in unraid )

Oh one more thing I forgot, is the startup order button that used to be there, noting for my self :)

You need to install Docker Compose Manager plugin by dcflachs. After that, you can now install containers via docker-compose.

For the start up button what do you mean? On my side I can drag folders up or down to change the order.

Or are you referring to the Autostart toggle button on the right side of the folder?

The autostart order as seen in the folders is not the "true" order from Unraid. Since you can move the folders around. Before there was some icon near the lock icon that shown when the order you see matched the order from Unraid and allowed to toggle and adjust the order. This was removed from the v2 and I need to put it back in some form, maybe show numbers next to individual container with ability to change it. I will think about it.

Yes, or a similar functionality... main concern is to define / show / be able to set startup order of containers, right ? I have that in my notes "FIX THIS!" so I should get to it this week. Currently I just fixed some leaks, added "memory" so it will remember state of open and closed folders because currently it will close all upon refresh of page. And now I'm fixing the dashboard, cause I skipped that altogether and it show nonsense. After that the startup order :) (mentioned fixes/feature are not yet in beta release... later today )

Ok, questioning my life choices now :D I reworked the dashboard section and it kid of work, but I did not test it with lots of containers/vms yet (added the new version to the first post/first page)

What are the long boxes for the other containers? Like SkillGoblin and the ones above? Same for the VMs.

Would it be possible to have these as icons and no boxes which result in widening the column on the dashboard?

Its the "folder name" on the left and than its containers in the right. One folder per line. Max 3 container are visible in the box to avoid mess if there are more you need to click and expand that folder... I wanted to separate visually containers from boxes....

Oh I see now, I understand.

I guess it may be personal preference, I would’ve left the dashboard to show folder icons and how many are running to keep a minimalistic appearance because if I want to see more detail I’d click the Docker tab.

But it’s your plugin and I enjoy running it so I’ll go with what you’ve done.

I should be able to add toggle that turn off the individual containers and show only folders, should not be too much work :)
