VM Stuck in shell

So for a few years now, i have had my home assistant vm up and running, Stopped my array to change a disk out, came back online but VM wouldnt boot.

Said vm files was not there, while vm was offline, i changed location of it, and back again, it boots up but remains stuck on shell.

well ended up rebooting the vm of it and system reboot as well. now it is still getting stuck on shell, havent changed any other settings, unsure what to try, have searched google some as well as forums here, nothing i seen so far has either helped or worked. 

anyone have some guidance or possible solution to get it up and running without me needing to redo the entire thing?
