April 18, 20251 yr Transcodes work fine on Plex but I really want to use Jellyfin. Transcode will jump the card up to 68% usage, play for 3 seconds, then it stops. Plex will use 15% of the card continuously for the entire movie. I am sure this is a setting as it's able to use the card just fine. I have made the change to the docker to run "--device=/dev/dri/" and also added that as a device to the docker but also added "renderD128" Any input would be highly appreciated.
April 20, 20251 yr Community Expert the intel arc gpus have known issues with random spikes due to power managmetn with aspm. I would recomend installing the aspm plugin and see if that heps with setting the gpu with jellyfin. see also: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-gpu-transcoding-on-unraid to use graphics decvies in dockers, the docker them selves need the driver software.. You can try using a intel driver docker mod... -e DOCKER_MODS=linuxserver/mods:jellyfin-opencl-intel

Since this is a linux io / linux server docker mod... I can guarantee better results running linux server jellyfin docker found in the CA:
April 23, 20251 yr Author I'll try the mod first since it's all setup already minus the transcoding issue. I'm running the bbergle "official" docker
April 23, 20251 yr Author Okay, the mod didn't work on the bbergle docker but it did work on the Linuxserver one. Thank you!
