Unraid 7.0.0 lost all connection to outside world

Featured Replies

So for whatever reason over the weekend my server lost all communication with the outside world. I was troubleshooting an issue with my plex server and discovered it earlier tonight.

I can ping my gateway, however I cannot ping 1.1.1.1/8.8.8.8 or resolve any domain names.

I have ensured the network settings are correct (been the same settings for years now), tested to make sure I can connect from other machines to the outside, and rebooted my server. No changes for whatever reason. Even switched my DNS servers, but no dice.

Not sure what else to check since no other devices in the house are effected by this.

Diagnostics file attached.... any suggestions to try?

Try deleting/renaming /boot/config/network.cfg to go back to default DHCP settings and reboot, then post new diags.

Quick update...rebooted into safe mode and both drives and internet connectivity is working/back.... Maybe it is time to reinstall unraid on a new usb?

If it works in safe mode, it suggests a plugin problem, you can try first removing them all.

Okay, only listed one as being installed, not sure if that is all of them or not. It was a dynamix file manager. Deleted it and rebooting now, will update

Dynamix File Manager is built into Unraid 7 so that might be why you are seeing it even in Safe mode.
