April 23, 20251 yr All of a sudden I'm not able to moves files within a share - message says "destination access folder denied" and "you need permission to perform this action". It's only some files - others are fine. I've looked at my SMB settings in other shares that have no problem and have matched them - but no luck. Any ideas? Diagnostics attached. April 23, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution Tools - New Permissions on just the user share(s) affected. DO NOT do New Permissions on appdata. How were these folders/files created?
April 23, 20251 yr Author Thank you very much - that seems to have worked. Most of them would have been created when I uploaded data from old drives when I set up unraid a couple of years ago - I think at the time I used rsync. Since then I just use windows explorer to move/create new folders. cheers
