April 23, 20251 yr I'm looking for some high-level guidance for how to migrate away from nerd tools (recently I upgraded to 7.0.1). Specifically looking for an overview of how to migrate rsnapshot backup scripts that are currently called on the host machine to use the rsnapshot docker container. I have two physical unraid servers. Server 1 is the primary, server 2 is mostly doing local backups (plus syslog and a few other side jobs). I run a set of daily/weekly/monthly rsnapshot scripts on server 2 to manage local backups. Can I continue to call rsnapshot from a user script on the unraid host, or do I need to call the scripts from within the rsnapshot container?

So... did you read linux server's rsnapshot github page... https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-rsnapshot#readme they recommend usind a docker compose router... so install teh docker compose plugin and use it to mange... and the github give examples however a docekr tempalte does exist inthe CA... as the docker is all about setting the folder rsnapshot will use...
