New Flash drive, array shows up properly, but cache did not

Featured Replies

When I booted, I had to create a new password for the server, which was odd. The array drives were all in place, but the cache ones were not. I manually selected the cache drives and called them what they were originally called, but I'm leery to start the array. I don't want the cache drives wiped, it'll zero out my docker and vms.image.thumb.png.684cdc7d70c3fdcf71b907f30f74ea9a.png

Did you restore all of your config from the previous flash drive?

I did, or I thought I did. I followed the steps, copied the config folder to the new drive from the old one. I do still have the old flash drive, if needed. It was just too small. Couldn't update to 7. I used 7's files to create this flash drive.

I currently have the old flash connected to this pc, and I can access the new flash through Unraid's GUI if i need to send files to it.

The new config folder is missing files, for some reason. I copied them all, but it seems they didn't make it. If I send them all over, overwrite the local files, and reboot, will that do it?

That should work.

The array assignments are in config/super.dat

The pool assignments are in config/pools
