April 25, 20251 yr I am unsure how to describe what happened. I got a disk error and ran the test on the shares page. The 3rd disk returned over a few million errors. I figured that a shutdown was probably in order as the server had been up for about 20 days at that time. I ran a clean shutdown from the Unraid UI When I restarted the 3rd disk was inaccessible and with a red X next to the disk name. I ran a diagnostics report but I don't know how to understand it. Any help is appreciated. Edited April 26, 20251 yr by trurl delete lots of attached files that should have been a single zip
April 26, 20251 yr Community Expert Diagnostics is a single ZIP file. Apparently your computer automatically unzipped them. We don't want the individual files, and nobody will bother to look at them that way, so I cleaned that up. Find the single Diagnostics ZIP file wherever your browser saved the download, and Attach the single Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.
April 26, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution Disk3 is not being detected, check/replace cables, or swap with a different disk.

Wanted to leave an update for anybody searching for an answer to this problem. I verified that the disk was under warranty with seagate and confirmed that it was. I followed their RMA process and sent my disk in and received a new disk in the mail. All told it took about a week for them to ship me a new disk. I live fairly close to their facility so I was pretty lucky in that regard. I have had the new disk in for a few hours now and everything seems to be running fine.
