April 28, 20251 yr in my disk drive "2" it comes up with a smart error. I have done a short self test and it says there are no errors but it still says on my main page that I have a smart error. I am a noob so I have no idea what I am looking at here. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance. Smart report.zip
April 28, 20251 yr Community Expert There are a few reallocated sectors, if those remain stable and the disk is passing the extended SMART test, it's OK for now, you can click acknowledge.
April 28, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution According to that SMART report you have only successfully run the Short SMART test. If you want to really test the health of the drive you need to run the Extended SMART test and if that fails the drive should be replaced.

Keep an eye on the number of reallocated sectors as if that keeps going up it should be considered for replacement, but if it stays stable you are probably OK.
