Not able to boot off USB anymore

Featured Replies

Everything had been working great for quite some time now. Had taken the system offline for a while. Installed a PCIe adapter so I could use m.2 drives and when I tried to start it up again it would not boot from the unraid USB.. I had gotten another USB drive and it would boot from it fine. I took the original licensed unraid usb drive and put into another PC and it still would not boot. I did download and create another unraid usb boot drive and that also worked. But I am hoping to reuse the old one cause of the way the license works.

Would it be safe to use the USB creator to remake the usb boot drive on the same usb drive? Should I copy the pro.key file onto recreated usb? or would the system know once I logged in that I am using the same licensed usb? I am planning/hoping I can just reuse the same USB key without having to go through a license transfer or anything like that?

Thank you
