RackIt
A MAID archiver is right in line with the operation of unraid. It doesn't run unraid of course but I stumbled on this and thought I would share. And only for $1400. So tempting. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Copan-Systems-44U-23-MAID-File-Archiver-SATA-Hard-Drive-Array-Rack-Enclosure-1-/200746175391?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ebd678b9f#ht_5170wt_906 Quote Link to comment

S80_UK
Just thinking about the power supply budget makes my brain hurt. Nice cabinet though. Quote Link to comment
kizer
I'd hate to run a parity check on that thing. Quote Link to comment
RackIt
I'd hate to run a parity check on that thing. unraid wouldn't really be run on it. :-) One parity drive to protect 895 wouldn't be much protection. Each of those slots in the photo actually hold 14 drives. There would be 32-64 arrays in that beast. Quote Link to comment
jumperalex
Sounds like the perfect application for an UnRaid cluster of UnRaid >;-) Quote Link to comment
