USB failing?

Featured Replies

This morning docker was down and the docker page just said docker failed to start. A reboot brought docker back but the GUI was empty. Removing some errored plug-ins and restarting again brought the gui back but I noticed this error in logs. sdb is my flash drive and I didn't find any other errors in previous logs.

usual the usb is called sda this seems more like a disk in the array is starting to fail...

run smart test on your disks.

Look like your flash drive just EOL.

I never have Unraid USB flash die, of course you need keep minimize writing to it.

But in opposite, the USB flash will die within 3 months when it use in Raspberry, even it is high endurance type.

nope, that is indeed the flash drive. When they fail some times they maintain the ability to read. There are some writes needed to the flash drive...

this is indeed signs of EOL flash drive. Sorry mate.

make a unraid flash backup
