Current UnRaid version unknown? Huh!?!

Featured Replies

Hello,

Today I restarted the server due to the UI not showing any of the HDDs in the array even though everything else was running. For some odd reason I also checked to see if there was an update of the system and what you see below is what I got. When clicking on the 'check for updates' button, I get a blank white box with no text and besides the title of the box, the only other thing there is the button 'done'

Thoughts?

It is possible that you are on such an old version that the current update mechanism is not working properly?  You can always use the Manual update method if that is the case.

If a manual update is required... it's going to be a while till I do... I would have to tear apart my entire server because the USB is internally mounted in it

That in addition to the other symptom makes me wonder if there isn't some problem with flash.

Thinking you're correct. Trying to download Diags now, but after waiting 5 mins for it(never waited this long before) The usb must be on it's last legs

The screenshot is after 5 mins

It is possible to do a manual upgrade over the network although a little more fiddly.

I was able to update the system via the normal means after doing a reboot... so now im on 7.0.1

So far so good... time will tell... though I did come into a strange issue... sabnzb's web interface becomes unresponsive after around 5 mins after restarting the docker... dont know if it's doing anything in the background after it does that(ill find out in the morning) but having this issue isnt nice... I did update the docker after restarting and that didnt do anything to help...

Anyone else having this issue?

docker...

Why do you have 100G docker.img? Have you had problems filling it?

Also, your docker/VM related shares, which in your case are domains, Plex, system, are on the array. Docker/VM performance will be affected by slower array reads and especially writes, and array disks can't spin down since these files are always open.

The reason these dockers/VMs are on the array was because I was having strange issues with dockers updating and or running... after I migrated things over to the array, things went back to normal. I need to clean up the cache drives(one is missing) and fully get the docker files in one place...

So strangely SABNZB would start strong on a download for 10 seconds and then it would tapper off into nothing, sitting like that for tens of mins. I have been giving it the benefit of the doubt given some activity of the array, but zero progress... that's a little rich...

I just got done setting up NZBGet and thus far I have had none of the issues that I had with SAB.

For now I will leave SAB in a powered off state for the time being, perhaps down the road I will give it another go. :(
