Changing usb key

Featured Replies

My parents in law have a unraid (free) system. Since they need to add more disk i would like to give them my usb stick with my pro licence, this is from my unraid 6 disk sytem that i'm no longer using. Can i just plug in my stick in their unraid server, or do i need to copy some files from their stick to mine?

I would do the following:

- Copy your pro key off the stick you want to give them and store it somewhere safe (probably a good idea to backup the entire contents as well)

- Format your usb stick

- Copy the entire contents of your parent's USB stick to yours and run the make bootable batch file

- Copy your pro key back over

Then you shouldn't have to do much of anything.
