May 6, 20251 yr Hello everyone. I keep having disk failures repeatedly on same SATA ports, and hoping if someone could help me identify the root cause. In details, a disk failure happens "ABC disk in error state (disk dsbl)"; I replace with a healthy disk; Rebuild completes and Unraid Array will start working without an error. However, after few days or few weeks I will have an disk failure again on the same SATA port. Also the old disk that had a failure will complete Preclear with no errors (using USB enclosure). This heppens with Parity disk (1) and disk 2. Last time was at 1am local time, and both Parity disk and disk 2 failed at the same time. Maybe irrelevant but a strong earthquake hit my area a month ago, and having this issue since then. Thanks in advance for your help! unraid-diagnostics-20250506-0859.zip Edited May 6, 20251 yr by Yoshi
May 6, 20251 yr Any power splitters in use? Also, did you try using different SATA port for those disks?
May 6, 20251 yr Splitter are always a first thing to check, but did you try to change the SATA cables ?
