May 9, 20251 yr Hi All, Is there a way to flash an LSI 9300-8i through the unraid OS? I've read the standard guide on unraid but it makes no sense to me. The card is a Fujitsu D3307 CP400i 12GB IT Mode HBA Card = LSI 9300-8I ZFS Running it on a Z370 asus motherboard. But I cannot get it to detect any drives nor can I see it on the PCI device on the unraid PCI page. Tried it in all the different PCI slots with no luck. Dead hardware? or just needs a flash?
May 9, 20251 yr If it doesn't show up on the PCI devices list you won't be able to do anything with it, see if it's detected on a different PC.
May 9, 20251 yr All LSI cards (at least the 9200-series and up) can be flashed with unraid, there are Linux flashers available. To crossflash them, you'll need to use UEFI-shell though. Also verify in the manual of the motherboard that the slots are compatible, for older boards they often only accept graphics cards.

Is there a guide on how to flash it with unraid? I checked the manual of the motherboard which is an asus maximus IX hero. But it doesn't mention if it's granphics cards only....
May 9, 20251 yr https://forums.unraid.net/topic/97870-how-to-upgrade-an-lsi-hba-firmware-using-unraid/ But it won't work if the HBA is not listed on the PCI device list.
