May 9, 20251 yr Trying to get Wifi working on my Unraid box as the Powerline connection it is currently on is a bit of a bottleneck. Upgraded to 7.1.1. and installed a TP-Link Archer TBE550E. Don't have a Wifi option in the Network Settings page. Also unsure if the card is actually being detected?
May 9, 20251 yr Community Expert Do not see that mentioned in the list of supported WiFi brands listed in the release notes. You are likely to get better informed feedback if you attach your system’s diagnostics (with everything in the one zip file) to your next post in this thread. It is always a good idea when asking questions to supply your diagnostics so we can see details of your system, how you have things configured, and the current syslog. That will allow us to both check if it is being detected, and if so whether it has a dtiver included.
May 9, 20251 yr Author Yeah can't figure out what chipset it uses. Did see some reviews on Amazon citing Linux compatibility so was chancing my arm a bit. I've attached the diagnostics file. tower32-diagnostics-20250509-1730.zip
May 9, 20251 yr Author Solution Ah then that's the Mediatek 7927 that shows up in the devices list. Guess I'll have to wait for an update.
May 9, 20251 yr Community Expert Looks like there's no Linux driver for that yet, at lest in-tree: https://linux-hardware.org/?id=pci:14c3-7927-105b-e0fd
May 10, 20251 yr By the way, does the unraid support 8812AU?It seems is in the tree: https://linux-hardware.org/?id=usb:0bda-8812

That should work, there's a good list here mentioned in the release notes: https://github.com/morrownr/USB-WiFi/blob/main/home/USB_WiFi_Adapters_that_are_supported_with_Linux_in-kernel_drivers.md
