I can't copy files from my PC's (Win XP) to unraid 4.7 (Plus). It starts, copying and then hangs out. here is part of the log output that might be helpful:

BTW, there is no problem what so ever reading files from the server.

Zip a full syslog and attach it, also attach a smart report for /dev/sdc

i took the ethernet card off the motherboard an put it back again. its seems to work fine now.

I would still suggest that you follow jonathanm's advice.  It would be extremely unusual for a network change to fix a disk subsystem problem.
