May 14, 20251 yr I having an issue with my Unraid server where it randomly reboots. Typically its once a day or once every 2-3 days. No power outages, server is on a UPS. I've enabled syslog and have looked through it but nothing is standing out.
May 14, 20251 yr Author I am having an issue with my unraid server randomly restarting. Sometimes its once a day, or once every 3 days. Server is not losing powering, its connected to a UPS. I've updated the firmware to the latest stable release. I've enabled syslog and attached the most recent log. However I dont see any shutdown reason in the logs. My monitoring tool reported it last rebooted at2025-05-14 05:02:17 Central. syslog-192.168.0.13.log
May 15, 20251 yr Community Expert Server restarting by itself is almost always a hardware problem, if you have multiple sticks try using the server with just one, if the same try with a different one, that will basically rule out bad RAM.
