Failed Flash Drive Recovery, Version 6.9.2

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Running an old version of unRaid, 6.9.2. After an apparent power outage last night, my unRaid server did not boot. Today I was able to restart but it took forever to load bzroot. It did eventually load, and I was able to restart the server. Several hours later it appears the flash drive has failed and my server is now showing "missing key file" in the Registration header. The server is still running. I am now in the process of trying to use the USB creator utility to build a new flash drive.

The issue now is that I cannot figure out how to rebuild the USB for my ancient OS version.
6.12.9is the oldest version on the list. I know I need to upgrade to the latest OS, but I was scared to mess with my system.

How can I find the 6.9.2 Image for the USB rebuild? Or is there a better approach? My current thougt is to get the server back to it's functional and licensed state, then work on upgrading from that. Any advice is appreciated.

Do you have a current flash backup?

The config folder is all you need to get your configuration going on whichever version you download

I did have a config backup and was able to successfully restore the flash drive. My server is now up and running again!
Thank you!
