May 5, 201214 yr I have my unraid system running beta 5 R 13. I have manually powered it down several times with no issues. I had a power outage today, and apparantly my APC script didn't shut down the server properly. Seems like any folders that I created since the last time I manually shut down the system say "windows cannot access X" and mentions permissions. All of my shares are completely visible and public. I've tried to read some threads about permission issues but can't pin it down and I'm tired. I have no cache disk, just a single parity drive. Any idea what I need to do?
October 10, 201213 yr I'm having a very very similar issue but with version 4.7. Had a power outage and now I'm getting the "Windows Cannot Access" error on every Windows 7 machine. I can telnet into the box, can browse to it in Firefox and can ping it, just can't access the shares. I too have no cache disk, but with 4.7 there is no "New Permissions" button.
