Best way to transfer data?

Featured Replies

Hiya!

I'm currently building a new proper server which will be filled with a bunch of 18tb HDDs for data. I have an old unraid server with approx 46tb of data.

If I put the old drives into my new server when it's ready, and then set them up as an additional pool, can I then transfer those files from the old drives to the new drives? Will that work?

Thanks!

Assuming both the old and new disks will be used in the array, you can only have one for now, but you can mound the old disks with the UD plugin individually and transfer the data to the new array.
