I can no longer connect to UNRAID via DNS name

Featured Replies

I have been able to connect via myservername.local until I made two changes the other day.

1) I updated to version 7.1.2

2) I enabled ssh access through access management settings.

Immediately upon enabling ssh access,  I could no longer connect to the webUI via the DNS name.  However I can do a ping on the DNS name and it resolves fine.  All other DNS names resolve fine on the system.  In fact, this behavior is the same across all of my systems.

I can connect via IP.

My Network shares, no longer function.

From what I can tell, DNS is working fine on all my systems, and even resolves the Unraid server name fine, but Unraid is not responding to the name.  When I ping the DNS name from the unraid server, it responds via the loopback address..

Any help would be apprecitaed.

But you are still having it, right?

Yes I am still having the problem, a reboot did not help.

Nothing obvious that I can see in the diags, try booting with a different flash drive using a stock install, no key needed, and see if that works, it will confirm if it's a config issue or an external problem.
