May 19, 20251 yr Hi, I am looking to upgrade my unraid server from v6.2 to v7. Read through the update instructions but still seem to be having an error after the files have extracted. The final error code is plugin: run failed: /bin/bash retval: 1 attached is a screenshot of the update plugin failure. If anyone has some advice would be greatly appreciated.

May 22, 20251 yr Solution You've got 4 gig of memory, and with everything running it boils down to there might not be enough available.4G is the absolute bare minimum of memory for the OS, and 8G would be the realistic functional minimum. I'd upgrade the memory and try again.Alternatively, you could also do the https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/getting-started/manual-install-method/ , but make a copy of the /config folder first and then after you set up the flash, copy your backup back onto it.
