I'd love to see Gallery ( http://gallery.menalto.com/ ) working on unRAID.

I copied the latest version (3.0.3) to my unRAID 5.0rc2 with the latest SimpleFeatures webserver package installed.

When I load the Gallery page, I get the following message:

 

" Whoa there!

There are some problems with your web hosting environment that need to be fixed before you can successfully install Gallery 3.

    PHP is missing Perl-Compatible Regular Expression with UTF-8 support."

 

Is there a way to fix this dependency?

I'd really like to see an installable package of Gallery, as it's really good.

If it's not possible in the foreseeable future, then I'd like to know if there's any other php-based gallery that works on unRAID 5?

 

I'll look into fixing that dependency issue with the next SF WebServer release.

try adding:

 

AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

 

to your /boot/config/plugins/simpleFeatures/php.ini file and restart the webserver....
