May 21, 20251 yr Hi i have been trying to move some files from share a to share b.I go into share select all the files I want to move, click move, select the new share I get a popup like its started and .... nothing.I left it running all night last night incase it was just not showing but nothing happened, however, if I go back in and try to do it again I get the "job in progress" stopping me. The only way to stop it is to reboot the server as even stopping and starting still shows the "in progress" On an unrelated note since updating to 7.1.2 I keep getting orphaned containers after updating. May 21, 20251 yr Community Expert Sorry, misread the original post, if the File manager is not working, try using Midnight Commander for example, mc on the console, also, if that is part of a container data, make sure it's disabled.

May 21, 20251 yr Community Expert It's normal to fail with Windows, or any other OS over SMB, because of the different appdata permissions, try mc
