Dockers setup deafult appdata storage location nvme drive?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am setting up docker for the first time whilst my drives are undergoing a party check. I want to have the docker directory and my app data location on my 2x nvme 1tb ssd which is set to mirror for safety this is a Zfs cache pool. I created a share in my 1tb drive called appdata and will point my docker directory to this location. As for the app data can i just do the same for it to read/write directly to my nvme drive /mnt/cache_nvme/appdata/ as an example? Is there any problems in changing this from the default. I apologise as well as i am new to this so not that technical minded yet.
